The Denver Broncos are set to welcome back one of their most valuable defensive players after a two-game absence.
Battling a foot sprain, weakside linebacker Brandon Marshall pronounced himself ready to play on Sunday after returning to limited participation in practices this week.
"I'm good. If it's up to me I will be out there," Marshall said Friday, via The Denver Post. "Today was the best I felt, and I sprinted for the first time."
While Marshall is raring to go, coach John Fox is taking a more cautious approach.
"It's something where we will make that decision an hour-and-a-half before kickoff," Fox said.
Despite the two missed games, Marshall was Denver's leading tackler this season.
Even if he gets the green light, his role could be limited after playing in base as well as nickel packages prior to the injury.
