Brandon Marshall might have slept a little easier last night.
The wide receiver, scared to his core last week by his suddenly radio silent free-agent quarterback, reconnected lines of communication with his "guy" Monday night.
The accompanying caption on Marshall's post: "My boy and his boys stopped in #chicago to say hello."
Marshall's smile seems to be one of relief, but doesn't indicate that Ryan Fitzpatrick is going to sign any time soon. The longing for reunion is evident in Marshall's eyes. It's like Player's "Baby Come Back" is on constant loop inside his head.
The stalemate drags on, and the GenoCoaster remains very much at the edge of the station. Todd Bowles is ready to roll. Marshall probably isn't in the front seat.
