This week's Top 10 "Performance Moments of the Week," presented by Bridgestone was ruled by the one-handed catch -- and with good reason.
Faced with going into halftime down 17-0, the Chicago Bears needed a spark. Star wide receiver Brandon Marshall answered the call with his spinning, diving grab with 13 seconds left in the second quarter to record his team's first points. The Bears went on to complete the comeback, winning 28-20. Marshall ended up with three total touchdown receptions, but neither of the othertwo was as impressive as the first.
Mike Wallace of the Dolphins had a pretty catch, too. Draped by Bills cornerback Stephon Gilmore, the wideout hauled in a lob from Ryan Tannehill for six. Unfortunately for Miami, it was their sole trip to the end zone, losing to Buffalo 29-10.
The ageless Antonio Gates rounded out the trio of crazy, scoring grabs. The Chargers legend did his work against the the world champion Seattle Seahawks, beating linebacker K.J. Wright and allowing a perfect Philip Rivers pass to fall into his outstretched left hand.
Also making the countdown: Panthers rookie Kelvin Benjamin had only two catches in Week 2 but added serious style points for a right-handed 24-yard catch. ... Chandler Jones can do it all: The Patriots defender blocked a field goal attempt by the Vikingsand returned it himself for a touchdown.
