The Denver Broncos practiced Wednesday with two key members.
Broncos safeties T.J. Ward and Darian Stewart were each limited in practice. In addition, guard Louis Vasquez (knee) was limited for the Broncos. Panthers defensive end Jared Allen (foot) was limited for the Panthers while linebacker Thomas Davis (arm) and running back Mike Tolbert (knee) fully participated.
Facing a dual threat quarterback like Cam Newton and the NFL's No. 2 rushing offense Sunday, the Broncos will need both safeties on the field for most of the Super Bowl. Both Ward and Stewart ranked in the top 25 at their position in run defense, per Pro Football Focus.
