Cleveland Browns linebacker Marcus Benard was injured during Tuesday morning's practice, leaving the field under his own power and then carted to the building, according to Tony Grossi of the *Cleveland Plain Dealer*.
The second-year player out of Jackson State came on strong as a rookie late in the year, posting 3.5 sacks -- his season total -- during the Browns' four-game winning streak to end the season.
Second-year defensive lineman Brian Schaefering was also injured during practice.
The specifics of both injuries are undetermined.
