There might be a quarterback controversy in Cleveland -- again.
Browns coach Eric Mangini benched Brady Quinnfor the second half of Sunday's 34-3 loss to the Baltimore Ravens and said he hasn't picked a starting quarterback for next week's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
"We're going to look at it," Mangini said. "I'll make the decision early (this) week."
After the Browns fell behind 20-0 at halftime Sunday, Mangini took out Quinn, who went
6 of 8 for 34 yards with one interception, and inserted Derek Anderson, who lost the starting job last season when Romeo Crennel was Cleveland's coach.
"I thought that at that point, D.A. might be able to give us a spark," Mangini said. "That's what I was hoping to accomplish coming out of halftime."
But Anderson threw an interception on the Browns' first possession of the third quarter and finished 11 of 19 for 92 yards with three interceptions.
"I was a little rusty," Anderson said. "It's been a while since I've been out there."
