Browns rookie RB Quinshon Judkins arrested on charge of misdemeanor domestic violence

Cleveland Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins was arrested Saturday and charged with touch or strike battery/domestic violence, according to Broward County (Florida) Sheriff's Office records.

Judkins, 21, was released Sunday after posting bond for the misdemeanor charge. A Broward County judge, who found probable cause, ordered Judkins not to be in contact with the alleged victim or to access firearms.

"We are aware of the matter, but will decline further comment," an NFL spokesperson said Sunday in a statement obtained by NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero.

The Browns stated they are aware and gathering information, Pelissero reported.

Fort Lauderdale Police, the arresting agency, responded on Saturday to the 1500 block of West Cypress Creak Road "in reference to a delayed battery," according to Fort Lauderdale Police sergeant David Soika, Pelissero reported. Battery was determined to have taken place, per preliminary investigations. Officers made contact with the suspect, Judkins, and he was transported to Broward County Main Jail.

Judkins' accuser alleged that he punched her with a closed fist in the chin/lip area and later hit her in the left arm and thigh while in a car leaving Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport on July 7, per an arrest report obtained by Pelissero. The victim told police that she is in a relationship with Judkins.

Judkins, who is unsigned, was a 2025 NFL Draft second-round pick of the Browns out of Ohio State. The 36th overall selection, Judkins won a national championship with the Buckeyes last year and rushed for 1,060 yards in his first and only season with Ohio State following two seasons at Ole Miss.
