Cardinals might fly north to Minneapolis to hold minicamp

The Arizona Cardinals might hold a player-led minicamp in Minneapolis, safety Adrian Wilsontold the *Arizona Republic*.

Wilson and wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald are among a group of players that also includes offensive linemen Levi Brown and Jeremy Bridges who are trying to schedule the minicamp in the next few weeks, but the biggest hurdle is logistics.

"We're trying to get three days in, or three practices in, depending on what guys have to do," Wilson said. "We're not trying to take up guys' time but we are trying to get better as a team, get better as individual units."

Several players have been working out in Scottsdale, Ariz., during the lockout, and that also is a possible site. But Fitzgerald holds his own camps in Minneapolis every summer and has access to the necessary facilities, Wilson said. The receiver also has a summer home there that could accommodate younger players who might not be able to afford a hotel right now.
