A new team and now a new contract await wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
Hopkins is close to hauling in a new agreement on a contract extension, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
It's a deal Hopkins has done himself, Rapoport reported.
Following Hopkins' trade to Arizona from the Houston Texans, the Cardinals were aware a new deal was in the cards and one is forthcoming.
Hopkins is a four-time Pro Bowl selection and three-time All-Pro.
