Case Keenum: Houston Texans players are 'pissed off'

On Wednesday's podcast, our gang of Around The League scribes took a moment to cite our biggest disappointments of the season.

Chris Wesseling settled on the Houston Texans, who entered the season with Super Bowl aspirations only to crater hard into an 11-game skid before firing coach Gary Kubiak a week ago.

Quarterback Case Keenum is one of the few bright discoveries on a roster that arguably has plenty of holes. With three games to go, Keenum -- the starter the rest of the way -- wants to end Houston's season with a flourish.

"We've got nothing to lose and I think that's pretty scary for other teams," Keenum said Wednesday, per the Houston Chronicle. "Because we're really talented and have nothing to lose, and I think a lot of guys are pissed off. So, that's kind of a scary combination."

Please. The Texans haven't been "scary" for anyone since knocking off the Tennessee Titans back in Week 2. Houston's defense is highly ranked, but this team has allowed 25-plus points in five of its past six games.

With the Colts on tap for Sunday, and upcomingtilts against the Broncos and Titans, Houston's in play for the worst record in the NFL. Wesseling -- and this fan base -- have plenty to be disappointed about.

We preview "Thursday Night Football" and play another round of "Win Wess' Toaster" on the latest "Around The League Podcast." Listen in, won't you?
