Here's a look at this week's best tweets, Instagram posts, vines and more from around college football.
Les is the best
As this horrifying courtroom sketch of New England Patriots QB Tom Brady was panned all over social media this week, LSU coach Les Miles did the artist a favor by drawing attention away from the Brady, um, likeness (at right) to the background of the sketch. Miles often wears a white cap, which makes the sketched man in a white cap and something close to an LSU-colored shirt a much closer resemblance to Miles than Brady's likeness.
Taking the plunge
Georgia starts fall camp with a swim at the school's aquatic center, and the excursion is always marked by head coach Mark Richt doing a backflip off the high dive. The message to the players? Dive right in.
C'mon, and take a free ride
Nothing like a hard-working walk-on joining the ranks of the scholarshipped. See the big moment for Notre Dame's Josh Anderson:
Bruin threads
UCLA released the look of its latest alternate uniform Thursday. Thumbs up? Or, like UCLA's last alt-uni effort, thumbs down?
Miller on the slant
Ohio State star Braxton Miller, now a converted wide receiver, worked with former OSU star receiver Joey Galloway this week. The throw came from college football analyst and ex-FSU QB Danny Kanell, at least a Twitter exchange between the two so indicated.
Do-it-all Pharoh
Back at SEC Media Days in July, South Carolina star receiver Pharoh Cooper told College Football 24/7 that his role as a quarterback and a rusher in the Gamecocks' offense might be expanded. He took to Instagram this week, with a few South Carolina practices already in the books, to suggest the same.
Rocky Mountain money
It's not just the successful college football programs opening their wallets for major facility upgrades. Colorado, one of the worst programs in the Pac-12 in the standings, clearly ranks a little higher in the facilities race. At least it does now:
