Chargers' Mathews, McNeill back against Jets following injuries

San Diego Chargers left tackle Marcus McNeill and running back Ryan Mathews both returned to Sunday's game against the New York Jets late during the second quarter after previously
leaving with injuries.

McNeill left the game during the first quarter with an undisclosed injury. Mathews had left during the second quarter with a thumb injury and was been announced as questionable to return.

The Jets announced late during the second quarter that LB Davis Harris was questionable to return with an ankle injury, while rookie defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis was also questionable to return after an ankle injury during the first quarter.

Harris returned in the third quarter.

The Jets didn't announce which ankle Harris injured, although he appeared to be favoring his left leg as he left the field.
