Charley Casserly forecasts Jimmy Garoppolo to Texans at No. 33

The second round of the draft has some intrigue, especially with the Houston Texans believing the top pick in the round has some trade value. Former Super Bowl-winning general manager Charley Casserly projected how he thinks the top 10 picks of the round will go on NFL Network on Friday morning.

He and fellow NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger also explained why they thought the picks might be good fits.

1. Houston: Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Eastern Illinois

Casserly's take: "The highest-rated quarterback I have left."

Baldinger's take: "That's their quarterback. They need one right now. They passed in the first round. They waited."

2. Washington: Cyrus Kouandjio, OT, Alabama

Casserly's take: "They got to get a right tackle. ... The key here is does he pass their physical? If he doesn't pass their physical, it's Ohio State's Jack Mewhort."

Baldinger's take: "That upgrades them. They've got bookend tackles if Kouandjio and Trent Williams are there on the outside."

3. Cleveland: Marqise Lee, WR, USC

Casserly's take: "Best player on the board here at wide receiver."

Baldinger's take: "It's a huge need right now. You've got your quarterback (Johnny Manziel); let's start adding some talent to it."

4. Oakland: Derek Carr, QB, Fresno State

Casserly's take: "This draft board looks pretty good now. First guy up there, Khalil Mack; second guy, Derek Carr."

5. Atlanta: Ra'Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota

Casserly's take: "Defensive line at this point."

Baldinger's take: "They've spent this whole offseason trying to upgrade their trenches. ... It's a smart move."

6. Tampa Bay: Xavier Su'a-Filo, OG, UCLA

Casserly's take: "One of the main objectives they had going into this offseason was to rebuild the offensive line. ... Excellent pick here. All of a sudden, that running game gets a lot better."

7. Jacksonville: Allen Robinson, WR, Penn State

Casserly's take: "There's a lot of good second-round wide receivers ... I think he is the most complete receiver at this point and time."

8. Seattle: Jace Amaro, TE, Texas Tech

Casserly's take: "A tight end with speed. ... Give them a threat down the middle."

Baldinger's take: "He's a wide receiver in a tight end body."

9. Buffalo: Jack Mewhort, OT, Ohio State

Casserly's take: "We're going to go with a right tackle."

10. Tennessee: Carlos Hyde, RB, Ohio State

Casserly's take: "They need a running back here. ... If they choose to go with a change-of-pace speed guy, they could go with (Auburn's) Tre Mason or (Washington's) Bishop Sankey."

Baldinger's take: "The only thing I say is, the quarterback, they still need one."
