Former North Carolina State teammates John McCargo and DeMario Pressley will sign one-year contracts, and will compete for roster spots with the team's three veteran tackles -- Henry Melton, Matt Toeaina and last year's second-round pick Stephen Paea.

McCargo (6-feet-2, 295 pounds) was the Buffalo Bills' first-round draft pick (No. 26 overall) in 2006. He has started only one game in his career. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season, seeing action in four games, and was cut by the team earlier this month.

Pressley (6-feet-3, 301 pounds) was a fifth-round selection of the New Orleans Saints in 2008. He played in seven games for the team in 2009. Last season, he came off the Carolina Panthers' bench in the one game he played.
