Chiefs RB Savage misses fourth consecutive game with ankle injury

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Dantrell Savage is inactive for Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills, leaving the Chiefs thin at running back for the second consecutive week.

Savage missed the previous three games with an ankle injury, and Kolby Smith went out with an ankle injury two weeks ago, leaving fullback Tim Castille and rookie Javarris Williams to back up Jamaal Charles on Sunday.

Wide receiver Quinten Lawrence, offensive lineman Ikechuku Ndukwe, linebackers Justin Rogers and Pierre Walters, and tight ends Jake O'Connell and Sean Ryan also were inactive for Kansas City.

Tight end Joe Klopfenstein (ankle) and wide receiver Justin Jenkins (knee) were inactive for Buffalo. Cornerback Ashton Youboty, defensive back Cary Harris, receiver James Hardy, defensive end Chris Ellis and defensive tackle John McCargo also were out.
