Indianapolis Colts coach Chuck Pagano plans to attend today's game against the Miami Dolphins, according to NFL Network reporter Albert Breer.
Pagano has not been with the team since being diagnosed with a form of leukemia after Week 3. Owner Jim Irsay hinted on Friday that Pagano might attend the game at the Colts' Lucas Oil Stadium.
Offensive coordinator Bruce Arians has been leading the team in his stead. The Colts upset the Green Bay Packers in an emotional win in Week 5, their first week without Pagano on the sidelines.
Pagano was diagnosed acute promyelocytic leukemia, which is easier to treat than other forms of acute leukemia and is potentially curable.
Pagano was released from the hospital Monday and visited the team facilities this week. He begins his next round of chemotherapy this coming week, and it's not known when Pagano be able to resume coaching duties.
The Colts were admittedly inspired that first week without Pagano. There will be a similar feelings with their leader in the house.
UPDATE: Pagano is at the Colts' stadium and will address the team before the game, Breer reports.
