After adding quarterbacks AJ McCarron and Jason Campbell this offseason, the Cincinnati Bengalscut ties with Josh Johnson.
Johnson was the primary backup for Andy Dalton last season. He appeared in two games, threw zero passes and ran the ball seven times for 20 yards.
The 27-year-old spent four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and signed with the Cleveland Browns late in 2012 before spending last season in Cincy.
The Bengals announced Johnson's release while adding 10 undrafted free agents headlined by Texas guard Trey Hopkins and Stanford tight end/H-back Ryan Hewitt.
