Cliff Avril of Detroit Lions suffers concussion

Cliff Avril suffered a concussion in the Detroit Lions' loss to the Minnesota Vikings, the team said on Sunday.

The Lions defensive end was first shaken up in the second quarter, but returned shortly thereafter. He was on the sideline again during the Vikings' second drive of the third quarter.

The Lions (4-5) lost 34-24 to the Vikings (6-4).
