Needing a win to make the playoffs, Green Bay struggled against Chicago until finally taking a 10-3 lead in the fourth quarter. The Packers couldn't breathe easy, though, until Collins intercepted Bears QB Jay Cutler in the final seconds to seal the win and -- more importantly -- the sixth and final NFC playoff spot.
Nick Collins was selected from among three moments by voters on NFL.com/gmc. The other two moments were Seattle Seahawks placing faith in QB Charlie Whitehurst to deliver the NFC West title and Dallas Cowboys QB Stephen McGee's late heroics ending the Cowboys' season on a high note.
After the regular season, fans will have a chance to determine the GMC Never Say Never Moment Of The Year from among the 17 weekly winners. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/gmc throughout the month of January.

Losers of seven of nine, and with veteran starting QB Matt Hasselbeck hampered by a hip injury, the Seahawks had no choice but to pin their NFC West title hopes on backup Charlie Whitehurst. And he delivered enough of the goods against the Rams, throwing for 192 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions to lead Seattle to a 16-6 win and unlikely division title. The Seahawks became the first ever sub-.500 team (7-9) to make the playoffs.
McGee's late heroics end
Cowboys' season on high note
In what will go down as an unfulfilling season, the Cowboys used some drama to finish on a high note. With Stephen McGee making his first career start, Dallas trailed Philadelphia by 6 with just under three minutes remaining. That's when the second-year quarterback engineered a game-winning drive that culminated with a 4-yard touchdown pass to Jason Witten with 55 seconds left, rallying the Cowboys to a 14-13 road win over the Eagles.
