The Indianapolis Colts announced the signing of first-round pick Phillip Dorsett on Wednesday.
The 5-foot-10 speedy receiver adds another tantalizing element for Andrew Luck and the Colts' "Greatest 'Shoe on Earth" offense.
Early reports out of Indy have the staff gushing over the possibilities Dorsett brings to the table.
"He looks really good," coach Chuck Pagano said of his initial impressions last week. "He's really fast. He's got really good hands. He's really smart. He's picked things up. He looks really good."
As with all receivers in offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton's offense, Dorsett will be asked to learn the X, Z, slot and F receiver positions.
While the Colts might have had other needs on draft day, the men in charge clearly coveted the speedy receiver, to ensure Luck has plenty of weapons surrounding him for years to come.
A Colts offense with Luck, Dorsett, T.Y. Hilton, Andre Johnson, Donte Moncrief, Duron Carter, Dwayne Allen, Coby Fleener and Frank Gore should get Indy fans giddy for the amount of points they could put up in 2015.
