T.Y. Hilton will take the field as the Indianapolis Colts attempt to avoid an 0-2 start to the season.
The wideout is active Monday night versus the New York Jets, the team announced before the game. Hilton was officially listed as questionable.
Hilton left last week's loss with a bruised knee and did not return. The Colts' No. 1 wideout practiced on limited basis Saturday, leading coach Chuck Pagano to say Hilton "looked good" and express optimism over Hilton's readiness for Monday.
In Week 1, Hilton led the Colts with seven receptions for 88 receiving yards on 14 targets. In three career games on "Monday Night Football", Hilton has 14 receptions, 179 receiving yards and one touchdown.
How hindered the speedy wideout will be is something to monitor early in the contest. If his game-breaking speed is sapped, it could cramp the Colts' offense against Darrelle Revis, Buster Skrine and the rest of the Jets' secondary.
The Colts will try to avoid an 0-2 start for the second straight season and need to get Andrew Luck's offense back on track after a disappointing, laborious opening performance.
