Cowboys' Joseph Randle arrested for shoplifting

Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was arrested for shoplifting at an area Dillard's on Monday night, according to a release sent out by the local police.

Randle was charged with theft 50/500, a class B misdemeanor, and was taken to Frisco City Jail that night. He was released shortly after 1 a.m.

The Frisco police confirmed to NFL Media that Randle was detained for allegedly attempting to steal underwear and cologne, which had a combined value of roughly $120.

Randle, a fifth-round draft pick back in 2013, signed a four-year, $2.349 million contract with the Cowboys that included a signing bonus of just under $200,000.

While the legal system likely won't be too harsh on the second-year player, Randle might have a tough time living down the products he allegedly stole. We can only imagine the jokes his opponents will be able to come up with between now and the next time he hits the field.
