Cowboys lose Sensabaugh to concussion in third quarter

Dallas Cowboys safety Gerald Sensabaugh sustained a concussion that knocked him out of Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions, NFL Network's Steve Wyche reported.

Sensabaugh remained on the ground for several moments after being involved in a tackle when teammate Anthony Spencer came up from behind to help finish the play early in the third quarter. Sensabaugh walked off the field under his own power, though he did look dazed.

Lions backup safety Erick Coleman left with a left ankle injury after getting injured on a kickoff.

Detroit starting safety Amari Spievey left with a hamstring problem.
