In June, Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy praised quarterback Dak Prescott for having his "best offseason program."
Fast forward to the first week of July, Prescott has been spotted in a protective walking boot while on vacation.
Prescott has been dealing with a very minor foot sprain for the last few days and it's not considered to be anything that should affect his preparation for the 2024 season, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Thursday.
Dallas will begin training camp practice on July 25 in Oxnard, California.
Prescott, who missed five games in 2022 with a thumb injury, played in all 17 games last season, but memorably missed the final 12 games of the 2020 campaign after suffering a gruesome ankle break.
The Cowboys QB is entering the final year of his contract.
In 2023, Prescott led the league with 410 completions and 36 touchdown passes. He also threw for 4,516 yards, his best since 2019.
