Cowboys reportedly put 10 men on field twice vs. Bucs

We've heard plenty of chatter about players treating the replacement officials like "substitute teachers." If teams are, in fact, attempting to get away with more than the rules allow, the Dallas Cowboys appear willing to go to battle with less.

Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas.com reported Tuesday that the Cowboys' special teams unit had 10 men on the field two times in Sunday's 16-10 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The first occurrence actually led to the Bucs' punt team tumbling into a delay-of-game penalty just before halftime. Tampa's punt protector was confused as he counted only 10 Cowboys on the field. Dallas later fielded just 10 men when as Bucs kicked a late-game field goal.

We're advising the Cowboys to field 11 men whenever possible from here on out.
