More sparkling gems from Dez Bryant.
The second-year receiver appeared on an episode of the Cowboys-themed "Inside the Huddle" broadcast this week and promised smooth skating for Dallas from here on out.
"I feel like, it may sound crazy, I think we are unbeatable," Bryant said, via The Dallas Morning News. "I think the losses, we lost those games ourselves. I feel like once we get back in that meeting room and regroup, and we learn from our mistakes, the sky's the limit."
Bryant has 14 receptions for 249 yards and three touchdowns. He's ranked 109th in the league in receptions and 70th in receiving yards, but it's not a matter of the game being over his head, according to the former Oklahoma State star.
"I really think the pros is much easier," Bryant said. "The reason I say that is because in college I didn't see too much man, too much one on one. I always got double-teamed and a lot of zone coverages. When I see that one on one in the league, my eyes get big. I start visualizing what I'm going to do after the play."
We get it. Bryant's on a 2-3 Cowboys team that has lost three games by a combined 11 points, including close defeats to the Lions and Patriots, two 5-1 powers. Nobody's arguing the talent on this roster, but this was an awkward time for Bryant to run his mouth about the game being easy. It sure hasn't looked that way at times for Bryant and the Cowboys.
