IRVING, Texas -- Dallas receiver Sam Hurd left Cowboys' preseason finale after spraining his left ankle in the first quarter against Minnesota on Thursday night.

Hurd was hurt on the first drive of the game when he landed awkwardly after being tackled from behind by Vinny Ciurciu.

The Cowboys have been hit by injuries at receiver in the preseason. Miles Austin could miss the next month because of a sprained right knee, and Isaiah Stanback dislocated his shoulder last weekend against Houston.

Hurd caught 19 passes for 314 yards and a touchdown last season.
