Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Dashon Goldson's wallet might be even lighter this week.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday that NFL Vice President of Football Operations Merton Hanks is reviewing Goldson's helmet-to-helmet hit on Arizona Cardinals receiver Jaron Brown for a potential fine, per a league source. The illegal hit took place with less than two minutes left in the fourth quarter of the Bucs' 13-10 loss to the Cards on Sunday. A suspension is not expected to be levied.
Last week, Goldson initially was suspended for an illegal hit on New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles in Week 2, but the suspension was later overturned and the safety was fined $100K.
