ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- David Lee has agreed to join the Buffalo Bills as the team's quarterbacks coach.
Lee has 37 years of coaching experience and spent last season as Mississippi's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. He's spent seven seasons in the NFL, including a three-year stint, from 2008 to 2010, as the Miami Dolphins quarterbacks coach.
He takes over for George Cortez, who left Buffalo last week after being hired as the CFL Hamilton Tiger-Cats head coach.
Lee attended Vanderbilt, where he played quarterback from 1972 to 1974.
