Dean Blandino says NFL might try using eighth on-field official

NFL Media's Judy Battista reported Friday that the league is considering adding an eighth official who will focus on interior line play, according to vice president of officiating Dean Blandino.

The Hartford Courant reported on the new House bill in Connecticut that would limit the amount of time youth athletes can play full-contact sports, including football.

The Day in New London, Conn., reported on the same bill, looking at the concussion education aspect.

Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Connor Barwin wrote for TheMMQB.com about the culture of an NFL locker room.
