Though unlikely to produce the same moral conundrum faced by Kelvid (our woeful pet name for the relationship between Cowboys cheerleader Kelsey Reich and Bills wide receiver David Nelson), Denver Broncos wideout Eric Decker will be facing his own unique scenario on Thursday.
Decker is dating country singer Jessie James, who just so happens to be the halftime act at Sports Authority Field in Denver for the Broncos' Thursday night matchup against the New York Jets.
Nelson welcomed conversation about his unusual situation leading up to Buffalo's trip to Cowboys Stadium on Sunday, but Decker initially chose to feign ignorance when asked about James on Wednesday.
"Who's the halftime entertainer? Some lady, a beautiful girl?" he asked, according to The Associated Press. "I'm excited. I wish I could sneak out, but don't tell Coach (John) Fox. I've got somebody recording it for me."
Decker made it clear he won't have the capability to repeat Nelson's act of hugging his woman and handing her a football if he scores.
"She's going to be up in one of those suites," Decker explained. "So, I'm not climbing the wall and trekking up there. Maybe I'll throw it to her."
We are previously on record stating that Nelson has the best life ever. But a quick Google image search of James has now changed our stance on the matter. It is now Eric Decker who has the best life ever.
Glad we cleared that up.
