Jamison Crowder's reign as Kirk Cousins' No. 1 target in Washington continues for another week.
According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, DeSean Jackson is out on Sunday against the Vikings (5-3) with a rotator cuff injury. Citing a source informed of the situation, Rapoport said to expect Jackson out next week as well.
The dynamic deep threat helps Washington (4-3-1) take the lid off opposing defenses but has not been 100 percent healthy this season. Jackson is the third-most targeted Redskins pass catcher behind Jordan Reed and Crowder. So far this season, he has 30 catches for 416 yards and a touchdown.
Beating Minnesota will require every bit of offensive firepower in coach Jay Gruden's arsenal, so it will be interesting to see how he re-works the lineup. Pierre Garçon could sneak into a bigger role, as could veteran tight end Vernon Davis.
