DeSean Jackson returns to Eagles after apparent injury

An ugly Sunday for the Philadelphia Eagles grew worse in the third quarter, when wide receiver DeSean Jackson went to the locker room with an injury.

Jackson, who had five catches for 59 yards before leaving the game, was slow to get up after one catch. He was seen on the sideline trying to stretch out the injury before he jogged to the locker room.

Fox's broadcast reported the Eagles' training staff tested Jackson's lower left leg and that X-rays were negative. Jackson was seen having his left ankle taped in the fourth quarter, and he then returned to the field.

The Eagles' offense wasn't on the field much as Matt Ryan controlled the ball all day in the Falcons' 30-17 victory.
