Dion Lewis' highly-anticipated return to the field will have to wait at least another week.
The Patriots ruled the running back inactive for Sunday night's Super Bowl rematch against the Seahawks.
Lewis was anticipated to see playing time for the first time since tearing his ACL last November. The elusive back was activated off the physically unable to perform list on Saturday after returning to practice this week and inspiring fellow LeGarrett Blount to describe him as "nasty."
The Pats will still have Blount, James White and Brandon Bolden at their backfield disposal.
