Dolphins rookie defensive lineman Jared Odrick will miss time with a right leg injury.
Just how long has yet to be determined.
A league source said it could be a six-week injury if it is determined that Odrick fractured his fibula, but a source close to the player said that after consulting with another doctor the Dolphins are optimistic Odrick's injury is less severe and that he could be back in two weeks.
Odrick, the Dolphins first pick (28th overall) out of Penn State, started at defensive against the Buffalo Bills last Sunday and was being counted to make an impact on the Dolphins' defense.
He was injured in the third quarter of Sunday's game when a Bills player rolled into his right leg.
