So about that rumored Brandon Graham holdout ... it's not happening.
The Eagles defensive end made that crystal clear on Tuesday, tweeting out the following:
While Graham could use work on his image-cropping skills, the lineman's words -- "I was never holding out" and "I've never had an issue with my contract" -- should put this drama to bed.
Graham returned to the team's voluntary workout program this week on the heels of a report in the Philadelphia Inquirer that he wanted a new deal.
NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, though, quickly reported that the productive pass-rusher was expected to rejoin the team without any demands for a new contract.
Graham inked a four-year, $26 million contract in 2015. The pact pays the eighth-year lineman $6.5 million both this season and next, which, to be fair, is less than the earnings for teammate Vinny Curry, who has never logged an NFL start.
