Eagles' Curtis knocked out with a concussion

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Kevin Curtis sustained a concussion Sunday against the New York Giants and did not return to the game.

Curtis was hurt in the second quarter after an incomplete pass when he was hit as the ball reached him.

Curtis was sidelined earlier in the season after undergoing surgery on a sports hernia during the preseason.

The Giants lost starting cornerback Aaron Ross in the second quarter with an ankle injury. He was taken to the locker room for X-rays and did not return. Running back Brandon Jacobs didn't return after leaving the game during the second half with an injury to his left knee.
