Brandon Graham will officially be available for the final game of the 2024 postseason.
The Philadelphia Eagles' veteran defensive end is officially active for Super Bowl LIX versus the Kansas City Chiefs, completing his return from a triceps injury that was initially expected to prematurely end his 15th NFL season.
Graham was activated off injured reserve on Saturday, setting him up for the return, and his absence from Sunday's pregame inactives list confirmed that Graham will be available for the Eagles' pass rush.
The 36-year-old Graham originally tore his triceps in Week 12 and believed the injury was severe enough to end his season. But with the Eagles' playoff run going all the way to February, there ended up being more time for Graham to recover and finish out his 15th season on the field.
With Graham previously indicating that this is likely his final season, this improbable return now presents him with one last chance to win a Lombardi Trophy and take a Super Bowl ring into a possible retirement.
Graham had 3.5 sacks, six tackles for loss, two pass break-ups and a forced fumble in 11 games played this season before the injury.
The Chiefs and Eagles kick off Super Bowl LIX at 6:30 p.m. ET.
