Eagles QB Vick forced out by thigh injury against 49ers

PHILADELPHIA -- Eagles quarterback Michael Vick was forced out of Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers with a thigh injury and will not return.

Vick was stopped on a third-and-1 play late in the first quarter and left the field on his own power. He took a seat on the bench and was treated by the training staff.

Vick left for the locker room at the end of the quarter.

Vick was on the field for three plays. He ran twice for 2 yards.
