Ray Lewis played his final home game Sunday in what amounted to an emotional farewell to Ravens fans after 17 years in Baltimore. Will he be joined in retirement by another core member of the defense?
"I'm not thinking about that right now," Reed told The Baltimore Sun after a 24-9 wild-card win over the Indianapolis Colts. "I'm football. I'm completing this year, and like I always tell you, I assess it every year. I assess myself every year physically. A guy in football, if he doesn't do that, something's wrong. So I'm not worried about that. I'm not focused on that. Right now, it's playoffs, it's Denver, it's football."
Reed might not be ready to call it quits, but Saturday's divisional-round tilt with the Broncos might be his final whirl with the Ravens.

Reed has struggled with a rash of shoulder and neck injuries, and he isn't the sure tackler he once was. He still has a knack for the big play -- his four interceptions this season were tied for the team lead -- but it's unlikely the Ravens will sign him to another lucrative deal heading into his 12th season.
Reed has toyed with retirement before, but he still believes he can play. If the Ravens don't agree, we believe another team will.
