When Eli Manning returned to the New York Giants locker room after hosting "Saturday Night Live" last weekend, he knew he'd be facing the expected ribbing from his teammates. So what was the damage?
"A few bananas thrown at me," Manning said, according to the New York Post. (In case you missed the show, that was a reference to one of the more ribald sketches the Super Bowl MVP found himself thrown into.)

Appearing at a charity event Monday night for an organization that finds guide dogs for the visually impaired, Manning said his teammates seemed to enjoy his venture into comedy.
"They all said they got some good laughs out of it, so that's always good."
According to Manning, though, the cast of the long-running NBC show was surprised that he wasn't nervous.
"I do live every Sunday," he said he told them. "If I mess up (on stage) I just say, hey, I'm a football player, not an actor, no big deal. Sundays, I don't have that excuse."
He said he has not had the chance to watch the show yet.
"You grow up watching it and it's kind of one of those things, it was a personal deal," Manning said. "I wasn't doing it for any other reason except kind of as a challenge, and just an honor to walk on that stage and do that opening monologue and kind of walk through the band, you've seen so many people do that."
