The 2014 NFL Draft is here. For many of the prospects that are going to walk across the stage at Radio City Music Hall, it's one of the most important -- and memorable -- days of their young lives.
Former North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron figures to be a top-15 pick in the draft on Thursday night and will soon be well on his way to creating memories for one franchise. Before he figures out where his NFL career will begin, however, he had some important business to take care of while in New York City.
How to watch the NFL draft

He had to propose to his girlfriend.
Ebron popped the question at the top of the Empire State Building, and she said yes.
Not a bad day for Ebron and his family, at all.
Considered to be the consensus top tight end in the draft, Ebron is a lock to be taken in the first round. NFL.com mock drafts have him going as high as the ninth overall pick to the Buffalo Bills and no lower than 18th to the New York Jets.
If Ebron goes in the top 10, he'll be the first at the position to be picked that high since Vernon Davis was taken sixth in 2006. If you're looking to find a few degrees of separation between the two tight ends, look no further than a proposal with a 49ers theme from a few weeks ago at the team's brand new Levi's Stadium. Sure, it's a bit of a stretch, but that's only like three degrees of separation, not six like it would be with Kevin Bacon.
Either way, congrats to the couple; enjoy the new life in some NFL city.
