OWINGS MILLS -- Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Lee Evans returned to practice Monday and is expected to start against the Pittsburgh Steelers after an injury to his left ankle had him in a walking boot last week.
"We were doing precautionary things," Evans told reporters Monday, according to the Baltimore Sun. "You have to stay on top of things. It was good to be out there today.
"I was able to run and move and cut and made a few plays," he said. "It was just good to get out there and run around."
Evans, acquired in a trade from Buffalo on Aug. 13, is being counted on to provide a deep threat for quarterback Joe Flacco. The seven-year veteran led the Ravens in the preseason with 128 yards on six catches, with one touchdown.
