Ex-Lion Boyd gets prison in sex case with minor

PONTIAC, Mich. (AP) - Former Detroit Lions receiver Tommie Boyd has been sentenced to at least five years in prison for having sexual contact with a teenage girl.

The Oakland Press of Pontiac (http://bit.ly/KtC3cG ) reports that Boyd was sentenced Thursday, a month after pleading no contest to two charges, including second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a 15-year-old girl at a movie theater in Oakland County. He had served as the girl's trainer in sports.

Boyd already is in prison for inappropriate contact with a girl in Macomb County. He played for the Lions in the late 1990s and later worked as a personal trainer and track coach at Fraser High School.
