The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced the 2015 finalists live Thursday on Gold Jacket Finalists on NFL Network. But as with any round of cuts, objections follow.
Fans took to NFL.com's Pro Football Hall of Fame Fan Vote to provide their input on who they think should be in the 2015 group, and the results essentially mirrored the actual finalists -- save for one exception.
The fans stayed true to the chalk through the first 12 finalists, but finishing 13th in votes and ahead of both Charles Haley and Will Shields was former St. Louis Rams wide receiver Isaac Bruce.
Bruce was an important cog in a Rams offense that was known as "The Greatest Show on Turf," decimating opposing defenses with stunning, record-breaking outputs from 1999-2001. Also in that offensive lineup was Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2011 running back Marshall Faulk, and 2015 finalist Kurt Warner.
Bruce and fellow wideout Torry Holt were the main recipients of Warner passes as the offense racked up more than 6,600 yards per season in the three-year stretch. Faulk powered a ground game that helped St. Louis reach two Super Bowls in three seasons, winning Super Bowl XXXIV over the Tennessee Titans.
In his first year of eligibility, Bruce did not make the the group of 15 finalists for the Class of 2015. Fans can vote for who they think should comprise the Class of 2015 using the Pro Football Hall of Fame Fan Vote page.
