Fantasy football flex rankings: Top 150 RB/WR/TE options for NFL Week 10

Pondering some tough flex choices for your fantasy lineup? Adam Rank sorts through the running backs, receivers and tight ends to present his top 150 flex options each week for the 2024 fantasy football season, with some useful nuggets of analysis sprinkled in. The ranking is based on a 0.5 PPR scoring format.

NOTE: In a typical week, this ranking will be posted on Tuesday. Injury designations will be added, adjusted or removed as teams' official injury reports are made available. The following three designations will be reflected:

  • (Q) -- Player is listed as questionable on his team's official injury report.
  • (D) -- Player is listed as doubtful on his team's official injury report.
  • (O) -- Player has been ruled out on his team's official injury report.

  • I know we don't need much nudging to start Saquon Barkley. I get that. But it's worth pointing out he's had three games with 32-plus fantasy points this season. He's rushed for 100-plus yards in five of eight games. Oh, and the Cowboys -- the Eagles' Week 10 opponent -- have allowed 147.8 rushing yards per game, third most in the league.
  • Some of you might have concerns about Alvin Kamara's usage now that Dennis Allen has been fired. If you are concerned, I think you might be looking for something to worry about. I expect Kamara to continue to be his dominant self. He's averaging close to 25 fantasy points per game with Derek Carr at quarterback this season.
  • De’Von Achane has averaged 27.8 FPPG in four games with Tua Tagovailoa this season and 7 FPPG in four games without him. And people talk about Tyreek Hill needing his quarterback.
  • I'm going to tell you right now before you can even ask: Yes, you're starting Christian McCaffrey if he's available. Or to put it another way: If McCaffrey is playing for the San Francisco 49ers, he's playing for your fantasy team. I'm sure there will a contrarian or two who will claim they have Saquon Barkley and Derrick Henry with no flex options, and to you, I offer my congratulations. For the rest of us mortals, it's all about CMC once he returns. Let's not debate this.
  • The Bengals traded for Khalil Herbert to replace the injured Zack Moss, but Chase Brown should still be considered a low-end fantasy RB1. There aren't a lot of guys I'd play over him at this point. And really, the Bengals' offense could be set up for a mini-run. They scored five touchdowns on Sunday and none went to Ja’Marr Chase. Mike Gesicki is a pretty attractive option at tight end, too. I'm excited for Cincinnati's matchup against the Ravens on Thursday night. Or maybe you're reading this article over the weekend and I look like a fool.
  • I love seeing what Darnell Mooney is doing this year. He's already reached a career high with five touchdown receptions. He's posted 85-plus receiving yards and a TD in back-to-back games. And he has a great matchup this week against a struggling Saints defense.
  • What should we do with CeeDee Lamb while Dak Prescott is out with a hamstring injury? I'd probably continue to start Lamb. Cooper Rush will move into the QB1 role for the Cowboys with Prescott sidelined, and Lamb averaged 16.5 FPPG in five games with Rush as a starter in 2022.
  • We roasted my colleague Jamie Erdahl when she picked Zay Flowers over Drake London in her Good Morning Football draft, but she got the last laugh on Sunday when Flowers scored nearly 30 fantasy points. Love his matchup against Cincinnati this week, too.

  • Marvin Harrison Jr. has five touchdown catches this season, but the consistency isn't there. He's had more than six targets in just four of nine games.
  • Courtland Sutton is among the top six wide receivers in targets, receptions and receiving yards over the last two weeks. He also can throw a touchdown pass, so you have to love it.
  • Travis Etienne is averaging just six FPPG in his last four games after averaging 13.1 in his first three. To make matters worse, he let a ball bounce off his hands in Week 9, resulting in Trevor Lawrence's pass being intercepted. There needs to be a new stat that reflects when a quarterback's pass-catchers are doing him dirty on a pick. Then again, some would-be interceptions are dropped by defenders. Maybe it all evens out in the wash. Forget I said anything.
  • Cole Kmet has two games with 24 or more fantasy points this season. However, he's had three or fewer receptions in four of his last five games. Make it make sense, please. I don't get it.

  • Hunter Henry has been great with the Drake Maye as his quarterback. The dude leads the Patriots in targets, receptions and receiving yards this year.
  • If you need a running back, you might want to take a look at Ray Davis. I know a lot of you will say he's already rostered in your league. That's fine. For the rest of you, Davis has 11-plus fantasy points in three of his last four games.
  • The Cardinals are starting to get Trey Benson more involved in the offense. He had nine touches in Week 9, his most since Week 4. Make sure he's rostered in your league.
  • Good luck this week!
