Ben McAdoo's offensive staff is beginning to take shape.
The New York Giants new coach is expected to promote QB coach Mike Sullivan to offensive coordinator, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
Fox Sports first reported the move.
Sullivan spent two seasons as offensive coordinator with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2012-2013, before rejoining the Giants as quarterbacks coach in 2014. The 48-year-old coordinator spent time as a Giants assistant as a receivers coach (2004-2009) and QB coach (2010-2011) before he left for Tampa.
Promoting Sullivan will further entrench the Giants -- and Eli Manning -- in McAdoo's system. McAdoo could retain the play calling role he held the past two seasons.
