2. Washington Redskins
The Redskins have the biggest hole to climb out of after a 4-12 season. They were 0-6 in the division and finished up 1-4 in their last five games. But the additions of general manager Bruce Allen, coach Mike Shanahan and quarterback Donovan McNabb have laid down the foundation for a fast turnaround.
Washington had the No. 10 defense in the NFL a year ago and solidified the offensive line in the offseason. It's a long shot in a very tough division, but when you look at their road schedule they really have a good chance to improve from 1-7 last season to at least 4-4. Combine that with most of their tough games at home (Houston, Green Bay, Indianapolis and Minnesota) where 92,000 screaming Redskins fans give them a chance, and they could rebound.
