The NFL announced Friday that the fans selected Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton for the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week.
Newton led the Panthers on a 13-play, 83-yard drive late in the fourth quarter to secure a 24-20 win over the New England Patriots.

After emerging nearly two hours later, the Bears crawled back into the game, tied it up at 10-10 and then experienced a back-and-forth struggle on a sloppy Soldier Field turf before halting the Ravens' last chance at victory in the final moments of regulation. After the Bears defense held the Ravens scoreless on their first possession of overtime, quarterback Josh McCown -- subbing for injured starter Jay Cutler -- got the Bears into range for the winning field goal thanks in large part to a 43-yard pass to tight end Martellus Bennett.
Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers
Steelers overcome second-quarter surge from Lions: The Pittsburgh Steelers withstood a 27-point second-quarter outburst from the Detroit Lions en route to a 37-27 victory. The Steelers defense rebounded in the second half, preventing the Lions from scoring at all. A stop on a fake field-goal attempt by the Lions set the Steelers' surge in motion, with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger leading a 16-play, 97-yard touchdown drive in the fourth quarter to put the Steelers up for good. Fullback Will Johnson caught the winning score from Roethlisberger, who had four touchdown passes in the game.
