"I will coach again," Williams told ESPN.com, at his annual charity golf event in Excelsior Springs, Mo.
Had the Saints not tumbled into scandal in recent months, Williams would have spent this season as defensive coordinator of the St. Louis Rams. The Rams haven't named anyone to replace Williams, and coach Jeff Fishersaid he wouldn't rule out bringing him back down the road.
But this isn't Jeff Fisher's decision. And it isn't up to Gregg Williams. The NFL will decide if and when Williams returns to the sideline. Don't hold your breath for a second chance.
